Combination Folder

The Mitsubishi combination folder with single chopper is a modern, operator-friendly system for the commercial web market, boasting unsurpassed speeds with jaw-fold signatures, as well as chopper-produced signatures.

The system utilizes a three-around folding cylinder and three-around jaw cylinders. An optional second jaw cylinder with three sets of jaw box assemblies and one slow-down delivery cylinder are provided for digest-folded signatures. An optional delta-fold function also is available.

All lap adjustments are motorized on-the-run for ease of makeready. Changeover time has been dramatically reduced with the use of open-faced cams and can be totally automated for push-button conversion from tabloid, magazine and digest-fold formats.
